Used batteries should not be disposed of with
regular domestic waste! Instead, take them
to your local battery disposal point.
5. Inserting (replacing) batteries
Pull off the battery compartment cover.
Insert 2 LR6 (mignon/AA) batteries in the battery compart-
ment according to their polarity (see markings).
Put back the battery compartment cover and latch it
into position.
The service life of new alkaline batteries is approximately
two years. A battery symbol (
) indicates that the bat-
teries need to be replaced. After removing the batteries,
wait approx. 1 minute before inserting the new ones.
After inserting batteries and mounting on the radia-
tor, the radiator thermostat starts an adaptation run.
